Kingwood Water Works servers approximately 4,000 customers with good, clean, potable water. We also serve the Town of Albright Water System.
The Office of Environmental Health Services notes we are dedicated in compliance with the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act. Upgrades in the past 10 years include the purchase of 5 generators to keep our system running in the event of a power outage, a 1.3 million gallon water tank, new booster pump station, water intake improvements, new telemetry system, installing radio-read meters in dangerous areas, and extending water service to approximately 150 residents.
